My name is George Hartnett and I have been photographing my world for many years. I think I really got involved with photography when my family and I started to go to Yosemite National Park in the early 1980's for an annual church camp related vacation – what an unbelievably beautiful place. I love hiking through the park – to Half Dome, Tuolumne Meadows, Glacier Pt. Now I take my camera wherever I go. Besides all aspects of landscape photography I love still life and enjoy city art, especially murals. I love the colors and the various styles and creativity of the artists. I hope there are images in my gallery where you can see the enjoyment and peace I find in photography.
